Gingerbread

This fragrant bread is flavored with molasses, ginger and cinnamon. My family loves it in French Toast and it's also wonderful served warm with butter and drizzled with honey

Makes: 1.5 pound loaf

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 3 tbsp molasses
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground cloves
  • 2 tsp bread machine yeast
Instructions
  1. Add ingredients in the order suggested by the manufacturer 
  2. Recommended cycle: Basic/white bread cycle; light or medium/normal color setting.
